Again:Three Chinese Abducted in Kogi

Just as the dust over the abduction of two Chinese construction workers is yet to settle,
three others were kidnapped yesterday at the crusher end of Lokoja, the state capital.  The incidence which occurred at about 2.00am Friday when the kidnappers engaged the security personnel in fierce gun battle  killing a police officer  and two other policemen  were fatally wounded before they went away with three Chinese.
Our source disclosed that the suspected gunmen numbering about 12 had gained entry into the company where the Chinese were residing. It was learnt that the suspected kidnappers engaged the policemen on guard, killing one and injured the other one.
It was learnt that abductors whisked away three Chinese nationals and went through the bush behind the company. With latest development, no fewer than five of their nationals are under captivity of the yet to be identified kidnappers in Kogi state.
While confirming, the incident, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Samuel Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi explained that the three Chinese were  abducted  in the  Company premises  located at about 8 Kilometres from the Highway.
