One of those nonexistent concerts was advertised to happen at the Arena Theatre in southwest Houston on May 17.
'Drake has never been scheduled to appear at the Arena Theatre venue,' a spokesperson for the rapper told MailOnline, adding that an investigation has been initiated.
'When we learned of this situation we immediately encouraged the venue and promoter to contact law enforcement to initiate an investigation,' the spokesperson said.
The rep continued: 'We are horrified that someone would use Drake's name to take advantage of his fans. For any individuals who may have fallen victim to this, please contact your local authorities.'

The Nothing Was The Same crooner is said to have launched a search for the culprit, although he hasn't a clue who it could be.
Drake, who isn't performing at any of those venues in May, has told the people who bought phony tickets to report it to the police.
The 28-year-old singer is currently in Australia where he's performing as part of the Future Music Festival.
Drake certainly energised the fans during a show at Royal Randwick Racecourse on February 28, and held them transfixed when he got down on his knees in a seemingly praying stance.
Wearing white jeans and white trainers, a white T-shirt and denim jacket, Drake wowed the crowd with his pumped up performance.
Two days earlier, Drake was spotted enjoying the sights at Bondi's Icebergs Club at Bondi Beach in Sydney, a must-see place featuring a winter swimming pool, dining room and a bar.
Te rap star kept his head down beneath a blue baseball cap as he left the sight, and his security team kept the fan crowd at bay
